Earth leakage protection monitors the electrical current flowing through a circuit and disconnects the supply when potentially dangerous leakage to earth is detected. This provides an important layer of protection against electric shock and electrical faults when correctly selected and installed.

Choose from 1P+N, 2-pole, 3P+N and 4-pole earth leakage units for single-phase and three-phase electrical systems, with DIN rail and dual-mount configurations available. The range includes units with different current ratings, voltages and breaking capacities to suit various distribution board requirements.

When selecting an earth leakage device, check the required number of poles, rated current, residual operating current or sensitivity, voltage, mounting format and compatibility with the distribution board. Earth leakage protection should be installed and tested by a suitably qualified person in accordance with applicable electrical regulations.
